Makes 14 balls

Ingredients:

1 cup sunflower seeds
½ cup almonds
16 dates, pitted
4 tablespoons goji berries
3 tablespoons rice malt syrup
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 scoops chocolate Bondi protein powder
Pinch salt
Zest from 1 orange
2 tablespoons coconut oil

Toppings:

1/4 cup desiccated coconut
1 teaspoon ground turmeric

Method:

  1. In a food processor place sunflower seeds and almonds and process until fine.
  2. Add pitted dates, 3 tablespoons of goji berries, rice malt syrup, cocoa powder, protein powder, salt, orange zest and coconut oil and process until fully combined.
  3. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of goji berries and process for a few short bursts.
  4. Using your hands roll into 14 even balls and set aside.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together dedicated coconut and ground turmeric.
  6. Roll each ball into the coconut and turmeric mixture to coat.
  7. Refrigerate balls until they are firm and can hold their shape.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
